Moltech Showcases Smart Battery Capabilities at Electronica 2002

The Moltech Power Systems team enjoyed a hectic and productive week at Munich's Electronica 2002 November 12 -15th.

Moltech's booth in hall B2 featured a brand new exhibit display, including examples of specialised, custom smart batteries which Moltech has successfully developed for leading OEM's.

Visitors to the booth checked out an ‘Integrated Smart System’ demonstration tool which allows OEM designers to explore the benefits of Moltech’s smart battery systems. These benefits include longer battery runtime and battery life, accurate & reliable fuel gauging, chemistry independence to ‘future-proof’ the device design, and more.

Moltech's booth also had another unique feature - not a single cell on display! "Technology OEMs aren't looking for cells - they're looking for solutions!" comments Rob Phillips, Moltech's European MD , "they are device designers and want a partner who can provide a complete, integrated battery solution which will help deliver a market advantage. We work alongside the customer's design team to create the ideal battery solution, and then deliver the batteries on time and to flexible customer schedules."

We'll be back in Munich in two years time at Electronic 2004.
